On July 13, 2016 IMEMO experts had a meeting with the delegation of the Institute of Legislative Studies of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam headed by the chairman of the Committee on Legislation of the National Assembly, Dr Phan Trung Ly.

Problems of fiscal and economic policy in Russia and Vietnam, such as public debt management, privatization of state enterprises and their role; labor and social policy etc. were discussed.
