On January 24, 2014 professor A. Fedorovskiy, Head of IMEMO Pacific Studies Section met with delegation of United States House of Representatives headed by Dana Rohrabacher, member of Subcommittee on Asia and the Pacific, Committee on Foreign Affairs. During the meeting security situation in Pacific Asia, role of regional powers, including China’s influence on modern economic and political trends as well as Russia-China relations were discussed. A. Fedorovskiy and members of American delegation exchanged views also on development of inter-Korean relations and prospects for improvement security situation on the Korean Peninsula.
