On February 4, 2026 (Wednesday) at 11:00 a meeting of the Academic council of IMEMO will be held at the Academician N.N. Inozemtsev conference hall.

Agenda of the forthcoming meeting:

1. Approval of the IMEMO RAS Report on the research plan and state assignment for 2025.

2. Approval of the IMEMO RAS Publishing Plan for 2026.

3. Report by V. Zhuravleva, Candidate of Science (Politics), Deputy Director for Scientific Work, Head of Center for North American Studies of IMEMO RAS: “First year of Donald Trump’s second administration: USA and the World”.

4. Organizational issues.

On April 16, 2026, a ceremonial meeting of the Academic Council of IMEMO was held to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Institute. The event brought together leading Russian scientists, diplomats, representatives of law enforcement agencies and the legislative authorities, with whom the Institute shares many years of collaborative work.
