On September 27, 2023 a meeting of the Academic Council of the Primakov National Research Institute of World Economy and International Relations of the Russian Academy of Sciences was held with the participation of the Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Denis Sekirinsky.
Departmental awards of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation were presented to the employees of the Institute.
On January 13, 2024, “Interfax” news agency published an article about the next IMEMO annual forecast “Russia and the World” for the current year 2025. The main conclusion the scientists come to is that the “factor-2025” will be the increasing uncertainty of the near future in almost all areas of world politics and economy since the beginning of the year.
