A roundtable conference at the Russian Institute for Strategic Studies

Head of the Section for Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine of the Center for post-Soviet Studies of the IMEMO Cand. of Science (Politics) Elena Kuzmina made a report “The impact of the participation in the Eastern Partnership project on the political and economic development of Moldova” at the roundtable conference on the topic “On the strengthening of the influence of the European Union on the post-Soviet states on the example of the Eastern Partnership program”, which was held at the Russian Institute for Strategic Studies on March 29, 2022.  

The participants of the event discussed the negative consequences of the Eastern Partnership program, implemented by the EU on the post-Soviet space, and pointed out the need to establish a new mutually beneficial system of cooperation in the region in the context of the obvious crisis in Brussels' Eastern policy.
