Staff-members of the IMEMO made reports during the roundtable conference “The USA in the year 2021”, which was organized by the Council of Young Scientists of the Institute for US and Canadian Studies of the RAS.

Scientific Leader of the ISCRAN Academician Sergey Rogov and Scientific Secretary, Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists of the ISKRAN Cand. of Science (Politics) Andrey Yevseenko made welcoming speeches at the event.

Staff-members of the IMEMO made reports during the meeting. They were:

  • “Continuity of the political course of the American presidents: content analysis of the appeals to the Congress” by Junior Research Fellow for the Center for North American Studies of the IMEMO Anastasia Bunina;
  • “Sanctions toolkit in the US rivalry with Russia and China” by Junior Research Fellow for the Center for International Security of the IMEMO Natalia Shapiro;
  • “Public diplomacy in the first year of J. Biden’s presidency” by Junior Research Fellow for the Sector of US Foreign and Domestic Policy of the Center for North American Studies of the IMEMO Uliana Artamonova;
  • “Transatlantic relations under the administration of Joe Biden: an overview from Eastern Europe” by Research Fellow for the Department for European Political Studies of the IMEMO Cand. of Science (History) Maria Pavlova.
