6Oleg Davydov made a speech during the discussion, which was held in the framework of the roundtable conference dedicated to the problems of the Korean Peninsula. The event was organized on the occasion of the official visit to Russia of the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea Pak Ben Sok by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Moscow.
There was held a discussion of such issues as: the prospects for resolving the nuclear problem and the development of the peace process on the Korean Peninsula in the light of the new US policy towards the DPRK, and also the outcomes of the recent visit of President Moon Jae-in to Washington.
The participants exchanged their points of view on the possibilities and the ways of deepening the Russia-South Korea cooperation on key aspects of the Korean problem.
