
On February 19, 2025, a Roundtable on the topic “Conflict in the Great African Lakes Region and its International Context” was held in Moscow, at the International Multimedia Press Center of the “Russia Today” International Information Agency.
The event was attended by Sergey Karamaev, Research Fellow of the Group of Regional Political Problems of the East and South of the Center for Development and Modernization Studies of IMEMO. In his speech, the expert spoke about the prospects for resolving the conflict between Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
During the event, RIAC and MGIMO Institute for International Studies Working Paper No. 88 / 2024 – “Fault Line: Conflict in the Great African Lakes Region and its International Context” was presented.
