Alexander Lomanov took part in the conference “China-Russia Relations on the Eve of the 100th Anniversary of the Communist Party of China: The Priority Areas of Bilateral Interaction in a New Era”. The event was organized by the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Russian Federation.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Russian Federation Zhāng Hànhuī and Chairman of the Russian-Chinese Friendship Society, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Ivan Melnikov made welcoming speeches at the event.

Coordinator of the group of deputies of the State Duma on the relations with the National People's Congress of the People's Republic of China, Chairman of the State Duma committee on the development of civil society, public and religious communities S.A. Gavrilov, Chairman of the State Duma Committee for Education and Science V.A. Nikonov, Plenipotentiary representative of the Chairman of the Party «Just Russia - For the Truth» on the international affairs A.L. Romanovich, Head of the Department for International Affairs of the LDPR V.V. Voronin, Deputy Director of the First Asian Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation M.V. Baranov,  First Vice-Chairperson of the Russian-Chinese Friendship Society G.V. Kulikova and Acting Director of the IFES RAS A.A. Maslov made reports at the meeting.

During the event there was a discussion of the issues of the Russia-China cooperation in the past and in the present, of the current state of the inter-party contacts, of the prospects for deepening the bilateral relations, of the China development experience under the guidance of the CPC, and of the impact of the international initiatives of China on the global processes.
