21On May 27, 2025, “Valdai” International Discussion Club in partnership with the Institute for Strategic and Regional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, held the Russian-Uzbek Conference “Russia and Uzbekistan: Priority Areas of Cooperation”.
At the conference, experts discussed the relationship between the two countries and its impact on the stability and progressive development of the whole of Eurasia.
Stanislav Pritchin, Head of the Sector for Central Asia of the Center for post-Soviet Studies of IMEMO, Cand. of Science (History), spoke at Session III “Industrial Cooperation in New International Conditions: Development of Technological Cooperation” with a report “Prospects and Limitations of Russian-Uzbek Economic Cooperation”. In his report, the expert touched upon aspects related to the implementation of major infrastructure projects in Uzbekistan with the participation of Russian companies, as well as the prospects and limitations of bilateral interaction.
