24On March 24, 2025, the “Nezavisimaya Gazeta” website published a commentary by Stanislav Pritchin, Head of the Sector for Central Asia of the Center for post-Soviet Studies, Cand. of Science (History), – "The Fergana Valley will become Common for Three Countries. Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan will Confirm their Borders and Interest in Cooperation in Energy Sector” about the upcoming summit in Khujand, one of the historical cities of the Fergana Valley. The main event of the summit will be the signing of an agreement by Presidents Emomali Rahmon, Sadyr Japarov and Shavkat Mirziyoyev on the junction point of the state borders of Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan in the Fergana Valley.
