21On September 6, 2022 the commentary of the Head of Sector of Economy and Politics of China of the Center for Asia Pacific Studies, Cand. of Science (Economics) Sergey Lukonin was published on the website of FBA "Economy Today". Beijing is not against the use of national currencies when purchasing Russian gas from the “Power of Siberia”. The use of the ruble and the yuan will have a positive effect on the Chinese economy and will allow Russia to replace lost contracts with Western countries.
