On February 10, 2026, The Primakov National Research Institute of World Economy and International Relations (IMEMO) of the Russian Academy of Sciences and Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad (ISSI) held a joint round table "European and Eurasian Security: Views from Islamabad and Moscow".
The IMEMO was represented by Director Feodor Voitolovsky, Research Fellow of the Department for European Political Studies Maria Khorolskaya and Research Fellow of the Center of the Indo-Pacific Region Gleb Makarevich.
Russian participants delivered their presentations, covering the history of European security architecture, pointing out main divergences between Russia and European countries, giving their assessment to current dynamics and prospects of Russia-Europe relations and demonstrating the substance of the Russian initiative on constructing Eurasian security architecture.
