99On July 9, 2026, the “Eurasia Today” International Multimedia Center hosted a Final Meeting of the Project "Eurasian Vector: Our Neighbors", timed to coincide with the 25th anniversary of the “Eurasian Media Group”.
At the meeting, experts discussed Russia's cooperation with neighboring countries within the framework of the Eurasian space.
Elena Kuzmina, Head of the Sector of the Center for post-Soviet Studies, Cand. of Science (Politics), in her online presentation "On the Main Areas of Partnership between Russia and Central Asia” outlined three key aspects of cooperation with the countries of the region: the development of transport corridors (especially the “North-South” route), energy partnership (including the construction of nuclear power plants in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan), and labor resources. She emphasized: "In Uzbekistan alone, the annual population growth rate is one million people. Russia has a labor force shortage, and the key issue here is the quality of education and the preservation of the Russian language".
