28On September 27, 2022 on the news portal of Sputnik Uzbekistan an interview with Dina Malysheva, Head of the Sector for Central Asia of the Center for post-Soviet Studies, Dr. of Sciences (Politics), – "Investment in peace: how Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan are Engaged in Border Delimitation" was published.
On April 16, 2026, a ceremonial meeting of the Academic Council of IMEMO was held to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Institute. The event brought together leading Russian scientists, diplomats, representatives of law enforcement agencies and the legislative authorities, with whom the Institute shares many years of collaborative work.
