The interview “Globalization is a natural and inevitable process” with Alexey Portanskiy was published in the 3rd issue of the journal “Znanie – sila”.

“Is globalization a blessing or a misfortune? Nowadays this question is quite relevant. I share the point of view that globalization is a natural and inevitable process. Moreover, we cannot hide from it somewhere. And what is important: many countries have actually benefited from globalization. For example, these are the countries of Southeast Asia, which experienced a rapid rise in the late XX - early XXI century. Firstly these were Thailand and South Korea. But the most prominent example was Singapore. Now there is the second wave, which includes Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam. These are the countries, which have joined the process of globalization, liberalized their markets, lowered the import customs duties and received the real benefit from globalization...”
