Elena Sidorova, Head of the Sector of International Monetary and Financial Relations, participated in the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Russia's economic development: architecture of the future" held January 27–30, 2026, and organized by Kuban State University in collaboration with universities in the Eurasian Economic Union countries.

E. Sidorova presented a paper titled "Supranational Finance in the EAEU: Prospects and Challenges" as part of Section 5, "Directions for the Development of EAEU Economies in the Context of the Formation of a New Security Architecture" on January 29, 2026. The paper highlighted the similarities and differences in the structure of financial integration elements in the EAEU and the EU, outlined the main areas for deepening financial integration in the EAEU, and revelead the challenges and prospects for the development of supranational finance in the Eurasian Economic Union.
