665December 2-3, 2021 IMEMO holds an international conference «The World Ocean - Space for Cooperation and Competition» dedicated to the memory of the Admiral of the Fleet of the Soviet Union Sergey Gorshkov. The conference is devoted to the analysis of new trends in the interaction of states and other subjects of the world economy and politics in the development of resources and areas of the oceans.
The participants' attention is focused on the problems of theoretical comprehension of ocean spaces, issues of maritime security, economics and law.
The conference is being held within the project «Post-crisis world order: challenges and technologies, competition and cooperation» supported by the grant ¹ 2020-1902-01-372 from Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation program for research projects in priority areas of scientific and technological development (Agreement ¹ 075-15-2020-783).
