On the 8-9th of April Primakov National Research Institute of Word Economy and International Relations will hold the international workshop “Political and Social Changes in the United States, Russia and Europe: New Domestic Trends and International Pressures”.

It is the second conference that IMEMO organizes in the framework of the joint scientific project of the IMEMO and the Harriman Institute (Colombia University, USA) – the oldest and the premier institution in the United States with academic and research focus on Russia. The first one (23-24th of January, 2018) was focused on the relationship between Russia, the United States and China.

During two days of our workshop we will discuss different aspects of social, economic and political transformations that leading countries go through today and the possible future of their relationship. The Phd students of both Institutes will present their research papers.

The leading experts of IMEMO, Harriman Institute, ISKRAN, MGIMO University and Russian International Affairs Council will share their ideas on the current and near future trends in social and political development of Russia, The United States and Europe.
