Primakov Institute of World Economy and International Relations (IMEMO) Deputy Director Vasily Mikheev (RAS Corresponding Member), Dr. Pavel Gudev –senior researcher, Center for North American Studies, Dr. Ekaterina Labetskaya – lead researcher, Section of Systemic Problems of International Relations, Dr. Sergey Lukonin – Head of Section of Chinese Economic and Political Studies, Kristina Voda – researcher, Center for Asia Pacific Studies met the delegation from the Korea Research Institute for Strategy on September 21, 2015.

During the meeting Dr. Gudev and Dr. Labetskaya presented reports on topical issues and prospects for cooperation in the Arctic.

Participants discussed possibilities for cooperation between Russia and the Republic of Korea to ensure the safety and efficiency of economic activities in Northeast Asia given the unresolved issues on the Korean peninsula.
