II Indology Conference "Dubyan Readings"

On September 28-30, 2022 at the Institute for Oriental and Classical Studies of the HSE University was held the II Indology Conference "Dubyan Readings".

Junior Research Fellow of the Group on South Asia and Indian Ocean of the Center for Asia Pacific Studies Elza Shirgazina in her report "The Role of Buddhism in the Himalayan Subregion" spoke about the features and influence of Buddhist religious and philosophical teachings on communities and internal political processes of state formations in historical retrospective and modern states in the Himalayan subregion, as well as its significance in foreign policy practice.
