109Dr Ekaterina Stepanova, head of IMEMO’s Peace and Conflict Studies Group, made a keynote speech on “Responding to Terrorism in Armed Conflict Settings” at the Global Parliamentary Conference on Counterterrorism and Prevention of Violent Extremism held in Istanbul (Turkey), co-organized by UN Office on Counter-terrorism (UNOCT), its Program office on Parliamentary Engagement (Doha) and the Shura Council of the State of Qatar.
