327On June 10, 2004, the Bureau of the standing interdisciplinary workshop of the Scientists’ Club «Globalizing World» held its regular meeting devoted to «Nuclear Arms and Security of Russia». Alexander Savelyev, Head of Strategic Analysis Department (IMEMO), addressed the meeting. The follow-up discussion centered upon the issue of the impact of nuclear arms on various aspects of security in the modern world. Among the participants in the discussion were V. Dvorkin, Principal researcher, IMEMO, and N. Kosolapov , Head of Department of International Political Problems, IMEMO.
