Forum “Russia – Africa: What Next?”

On April 25, 2025, Anna Velikaya, Senior Researcher of the Group on Peace and Conflict Studies, took part in the Forum “Russia – Africa: What's Next?”, held on April 23–25 at MGIMO University of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.

She presented a report on the prospects for cooperation on humanitarian security between the BRICS countries and African countries as part of the expert discussion “Institutionalization of South – South Cooperation: BRICS Experience and Prospects for Africa”.

The Forum “Russia – Africa: What's Next?” is a permanent international discussion platform based at MGIMO University of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, where political figures, representatives of scientific and student communities from Russia and African countries exchange views and discuss the most pressing issues of the bilateral agenda.
