5Elena Nikitina took part in the meeting of the AMAP climate expert group “Arctic Council on the topic of improving multi-factor assessment of the consequences, opportunities and risks of climate change in the Arctic”, during which there was a discussion on how the expansion of interdisciplinary research can contribute to the improvement of the multi-factor assessment of the consequences, the opportunities and of the risks for society from climate change in the Arctic. The outcomes of the discussion are especially relevant for promoting Russia's interests during its chairmanship in the Arctic Council.
