On September 20, the Observo analytical center under the aegis of the Franco-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted the second expert meeting with young scholars – specialists in French studies. The subject of the meeting was “France in the labyrinth of internal and external challenges in 2023”.
IMEMO's researcher Pavel Timofeev took part in the meeting and made a presentation: "Emmanuel Macron's reforms and the domestic political situation in France". Two other specialist – Alexey Chikhachev (St. Petersburg University) and Natalia Lapina (INION RAS) also presented their reports.
After the reports, a lively discussion took place on the problems of domestic and foreign policy of France.
