Ekaterina Stepanova publication in IPSP Report

Dr Ekaterina Stepanova, Head of IMEMO's Group on peace and conflict studies, has co-authored a chapter on "Violence, wars, peace, and security" in a 3-volume report "Rethinking Society for the 21st Century" published by Cambridge University Press (Vol. 2: Political Regulation, Governance and Societal Transformations, p. 411-456).

The report is a product of the 4-year work of the International Panel on Social Progress (IPSP): http://www.ipsp.org -  that involved around 300 social scientists from around the world (Dr Stepanova is the only Russian participant in the project). IPSP's institutional partners include Fondation maison des sciences de'l homme and Sciences Po (Paris), Princeton and Vienna Universities, International Social Science Council, UN Research Institute for Social Development (UNRISD) etc.
