Dmitry Stefanovich made a report on the issues of the "interweaving" of nuclear and non-nuclear weapons and of the emergence of the hypersonic weapons in the framework of the VCDNP Deterrence and Emerging Technologies (DET) Webinar Series.

Dmitry Stefanovich pointed out the exhisting key trends related to the horizontal and vertical proliferation of kinds of weapons and the growth of their combat capabilities. He emphasized the sustainability of these processes, and noted the need to seek the concrete measures to reduce the risk of at least some kinds of weapons and the possibility of following adaptation to other kinds and platforms.
