7Dmitry Stefanovich took part in the virtual roundtable conference on the future of the strategic arms control at the Council for Foreign Relations (CFR) of the USA.
Dmitry Stefanovich noted that the arms control, as well as its degradation, is perceived by the Russian military and political leaders as a significant factor of the national and the international security. Currently, there is a possibility of reaching agreements on the narrow issues, which can give impetus to the deeper negotiations, despite the differences in the approaches and the priorities of the states in this sphere.
