On October 29-30, 2015 IMEMO Deputy Director Vasily Mikheev took part in the international conference "Arctic Futures: Challenges and Opportunities", organized by the Institute of Russian Studies of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in Seoul, with the cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea.
The conference focused on various strategies and visions of business opportunities in the Arctic area with the view to its impact on international security in the Pacific region.
