The Center for Comparative Socio-Economic and Socio-Political Studies held a workshop within the framework of an on-going seminar dedicated to the analysis of methodological problems of political, social and cultural transformations in the contemporary world. The current series is dedicated to social and political change in Western democracies. The workshop focused on British politics, economy and society.

In January of 2026 the first issue of the MEMO Journal comes out. It opens with an article on the theory and prospects of the global dominance of the U.S. dollar. Economic topics are widely represented on the pages of the issue with materials on the problems of national economies and economic policy of major world and regional powers – the United States, Japan, and Pakistan.
