On November 11, 2024, the Center for the Middle East Studies held the next Georgy Mirsky Middle East Seminar on the topic “Psychological Impact of Conflicts on Society”

The seminar was addressed by Timofey Nestik, Professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Head of the Laboratory of Social and Economic Psychology of the Institute of Psychology of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Dr. of Science (History), Cand. of Science (Philosophy).

Timofey Nestik is a recognized Russian specialist in the field of social and economic psychology, studying the impact of crisis factors on public sentiment and social stability. He presented the results of his research, touching upon key aspects of risk perception, trust in social institutions in conflict situations, and ways of society’s adaptation to new challenges.

The seminar was held in a mixed format.
