Georgy Mirsky Middle East Seminar


On December 21, 2022 Center for the Middle East Studies held its regular Georgy Mirsky Middle East Seminar entitled "Dialogue among the Three Abrahamic Religions: Opportunities and Prospects”. Ibrahim Taufik Kamel, Professor, Chief Researcher of the Center for Arab and Islamic Studies of the Institute of Oriental Studies, Russian Academy of Sciences, spoke at the seminar.

Ibrahim Taufik Kamel is a Soviet and Russian philosopher and Islamic scholar. His main research interests include the early history of Islam, classical Muslim theology and philosophy, and Muslim reformation. Ibrahim Taufik Kamel is the author of more than 50 works.

The seminar was held in a mixed format.
