
IMEMO Center for the Middle East Studies held Georgy Mirsky Middle East Seminar on the topic “Turkey after the Elections and the Prospects for Russian-Turkish Relations”.
Pavel Shlykov, Cand. of Science (History), Associate Professor of the Institute of Asian and African Studies at Lomonosov Moscow State University, spoke at the event. The seminar discussed the results of the presidential and parliamentary elections in Turkey, the possibility of change in Ankara's domestic and foreign policy, as well as prospects for further development of Russian-Turkish relations.
Opinions were exchanged among the participants following the presentation.
