On October 31, 2022 the "Asian Seminar" headed by Academician Vasily Mikheev was held.
Academician Victor Larin, Deputy Chairman of the Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, spoke at the seminar. The topic of his speech was "China: a View from the Russian borderlands”.
The presentation covered the following topics:
- the influence of the XX National Congress of the CPC on Russian-Chinese relations;
- perception of China in the Pacific Russia;
- China's place and role in the development of Asia-Pacific region;
- Sino-American relations and their significance for Russia;
- problems and prospects of cross-border cooperation between Russia and China.
