The history and the American sanctions against Huawei of May 2020 as well as the general issues related to the US technological war against the Chinese high-tech sector (primarily the electronic industry) were analyzed in the document. The prospects of the development of the conflict, including the mutual countermeasures of Washington and Beijing, as well as the key problems of China in overcoming the external challenges of the development of the national high-tech industry are also considered.
