On January 31, 2006, a workshop on the issues of biosecurity took place in the IMEMO.

The workshop was held within the framework of the joint IMEMO-CSIS (Center for Strategic and International Studies, USA) project. Among the participants were representatives of the Federal Government bodies, leading Russian experts in biosecurity, foreign diplomays.
