The conference “The prospects for the economic and the political cooperation within the Union State” (in the framework of the visiting expert session “The future of the Union State of Russia and Belarus: the economy, the security and the humanitarian sphere”) was held at the IMEMO on February 12, 2019. The representatives of the leading Belarusian academic instituts and think tanks as well as the staff-members of the several departments of the IMEMO attended the event. Director of the IMEMO Corresponding Member of RAS Feodor Voitolovsky addressed with the welcoming speech to the participants of the meeting.
