A round table between russian and chinese scholars was held in IMEMO on June 15th, 2018.

IMEMO Vice President, Academician of RAS Vasily Mikheev and a Junior Research Fellow of IMEMO Sergey Ignatev attended the meeting.

The delegation of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences headed by Prof. Zhong Feiteng, Senior Fellow, Head of Department of Great Power Relation Studies, included Zhang Zhongyuan, Senior Research Fellow, Department of International Economic Relations, Fu Jingyun, Senior Research Fellow, Department of Regional Economic Cooperation, and Zhou Yamin, Assistant Research Fellow, Department of Emerging Economies.

During the roundtable participants discussed Russia-China relations, prospects of the Belt and Road Initiative and situation in the Korean Peninsula.
