2039A round table between Russian and Chinese scholars was held in IMEMO on September 12th, 2018.
Head of Group of Economics and Politics of Japan of IMEMO Vitaly Shvydko, Head of Sector of Economy and Politics of China of IMEMO Sergey Lukonin and Junior Research Fellow of IMEMO Sergey Ignatev attended the meeting.
The delegation of China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations (CICIR) was consisted of Prof. Li Dung, Deputy Director of Institute of Russian Studies of CICIR, Chen Yu, Professor at Institute of Russian Studies of CICIR, Prof. Chen Wenxin, Deputy Director of Institute of American Studies of CICIR, and Sun Chenghao, Assistant Research Fellow of Institute of American Studies of CICIR.
During the roundtable participants discussed Russia-China relations, Russia-US relations and Sino-American relations, prospects of the Belt and Road Initiative and situation in the Indo-Pacific region as well.
