1949Academician of RAS Gennady Chufrin and Head of the Section of the Center for Post-Soviet Studies Dr. Dina Malysheva held the meeting with the Heads of the Departments of the Institute of Strategic and Interregional Researches under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan S.A. Valijev and M.I. Bazarova.
On April 16, 2026, a ceremonial meeting of the Academic Council of IMEMO was held to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Institute. The event brought together leading Russian scientists, diplomats, representatives of law enforcement agencies and the legislative authorities, with whom the Institute shares many years of collaborative work.
