1408The delegation of the Institute of World Economy and Politics of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences visited the IMEMO. Director of the IMEMO Corresponding Member of the RAS Feodor Voitolovsky and Chief Researcher for the Center for Asia Pacific Studies Prof. Alexander Lomanov had a meeting with the delegation.
The participants of the meeting discussed the issues of the international strategic security and nuclear disarmament, the USA policy in Asia and Europe, the problems of sanctions and their impact on the economic development and the international cooperation, the possibility of escalation of modern trends in the global politics in a full-scale conflict of civilizations.
