1451There was held a regular meeting of the Scientific Council of the IMEMO. During the event Head of the Center for North American Studies Viktoriya Zhuravleva made the report “The new balance of power in the party and political system of the USA: the challenges for Russia”.
Gleb Makarevich presented a report “Significance of Border Clashes for Afghan-Pakistani Relations” at the Scientific Conference of the Afghanistan Sector of the Center for Near and Middle East Studies of the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences “Afghanistan: 3.5 Years of Taliban Rule”.
