The roundtable conference on the current problems of political science researches in Russia and China was held at the IMEMO.

Oleg Davydov and Alexander Fedorovsky held a roundtable conference on the current political situation on the Korean Peninsula and the relations between Russia and South Korea with the delegation from the Republic of Korea.

There was held the “Asian Workshop” under the guidance of Academician Vasily Mikheev.

The delegation of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences headed by Director of the Service Center for International Academic and Cultural Communication Li Te visited the IMEMO.

The meeting with the delegation of the Institute of Russian, Eastern European & Central Asian Studies of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences was held at the Center for Asia Pacific Studies.

The round table with the Chinese delegation of the international relation research experts was held at the IMEMO. During the event there was the discussion of the issues of the strategic stability and security, of the global governance and of the relations between the USA, China and Russia.

The roundtable conference with the participation of the delegation of the Ministry of Unification of the Republic of Korea headed by Adviser to the Minister for Political Affairs Kim Jun Su was held at the Center for Asia Pacific Studies.

The delegation of the Group for Foreign Affairs and Security of the Department for the policy and the public administration of the Research Service for the National Assembly Secretariat of the South Korea visited the IMEMO. Senior Researcher for the Center for Asia Pacific Studies Kristina Voda took part in the meeting.

There was held the meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute. The report “The Chinese reforms are on the new phase of reorganization” by Prof. Alexander Lomanov was on the agenda.

There was held the meeting of the staff-members of the Center for Asia Pacific Studies of the IMEMO with the delegation of the Diplomatic Academy of the Republic of Korea. The participants of the meeting discussed the issues of the Korean settlement and the status of the Russia-Korea relations.

There was held the “Asian Workshop” under the guidance of Academician Vasily Mikheev. Oleg Davydov made the report “The Korean dead end. The continuation of the story”.

There was held the Asian Workshop “The 40 anniversary of the reforms in China: what has gone wrong” under the guidance of Academician Vasily Mikheev. Dr. Alexander Lomanov was the speaker.
