Analytical Club Meeting "EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism: a challenge for Russia?" will be held and streamed on Zoom.

Center for Energy Research of the IMEMO of the RAS and the Faculty of International Energy Business of the National University of Oil and Gas “Gubkin University” held the online international youth conference called “World Energy Transition: The Trends and The Risks”.

There was the roundtable conference on the topic “The economic policy of Spain at the new stage of the European integration”. The event was held in a mixed format. The outcomes of the meeting will be published in the periodical “Analysis and Forecast. IMEMO Journal”.

There was held the regular meeting of the scientific-theoretical seminar of the Center for Comparative Socio-Economic and Political Studies of the IMEMO. It was held in a mixed format.The topic of the event was “The digital inequality in divided societies: the social, the economic and the political dimensions”.

The IMEMO Young Scientists Council is proud to announce that we will be hosting the International conference for young researchers "The world after the pandemic: global challenges and development prospects" which will be held on April 22-23, 2021 in Moscow, at the Primakov National Research Institute of World Economy and International Relations of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IMEMO).

The meeting of the Academic Council of the IMEMO, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Academician N.N. Inozemtsev, was held in the big conference hall of the IMEMO.

There was held the inter-institutional seminar in honor of E.Y. Batalov on the topic “The United States after D. Trump: the socio-political legacy of an unformatted president”.

The meeting of the Scientific Council was held in the mixed format at the IMEMO. Alexey Arbatov made a report “The Strategic Stability and the prospects for the new START treaty”.

Center for the Middle East Studies of the IMEMO held a regular online-seminar named after G. Mirsky “Middle East: the policy and the identity”. At the event there was held the presentation of the collective monograph of the same name.

The regular meeting of the scientific-theoretical seminar of the Center for Comparative Socio-Economic and Political Studies of the IMEMO was held on February 16, 2021. Irina Kudryashova made a report “The Divided Societies in the Countries of the Middle East: the experience of spatial analysis” at the meeting.
