The Center for the Middle East Studies of the IMEMO held this years’s first Middle East Seminar n.a. G.I. Mirsky on the topic “The new trends in the development of the Islamic Republic of Iran: the economic and the political aspects”.

Center for the Middle East Studies of the IMEMO held a seminar n.a. G.I. Mirskiy on the topic “The foreign policy of the Gulf Cooperation Council states in the context of the remaining tension”.

Center for the Middle East Studies of the IMEMO held an internal seminar on the topic “The eskalation of the conflict between Israel and the Gaza Strip: what is happening?” Tatiana Tyukaeva and Ludmila Samarskaya made reports in the framework of the event. On the meeting there was a discussion of the further deterioration of the Palestinian-Israeli Conflict.

Center for the Middle East Studies of the IMEMO held a regular online-seminar named after G. Mirsky “Middle East: the policy and the identity”. At the event there was held the presentation of the collective monograph of the same name.

Center for the Middle-East Studies held the fourth online seminar n.a. G. Mirsky in the year 2020. The topic of the seminar was “Turkey-Iran rivalry at Mashrik (Iraq, Syria and Lebanon)”.

Center for the Middle East Studies held the first online seminar n.a. G.I. Mirsky in 2020. President of the U.S./Middle East Project (USMEP) Daniel Levy gave a speech at the event.

The seminar under the guidance of Dr. Irina Zvyagelskaya was held at the Center for the Middle East Studies of the IMEMO.

The first scientific seminar “The Persian Gulf: the peculiarities of the economic and political development” dedicated to the commemoration of the famous Russian orientalist and expert in Arab studies Georgiy Mirskiy was held by the Middle East Research Center of the IMEMO.
