Alexey Krivopalov made a plenary report “The operational and strategic analysis of the Second Karabakh War” on the international roundtable conference dedicated to the analysis of the Second Karabakh War.

There was held the meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute. The report “The new stage of the Ukrainian crisis: the key challenges and trends of development” by Eduard Solovyev was on the agenda.

There was held the first meeting of the scientific expert club “Central Asia plus”. The topic of the event was “The states of the Central Asia in world economy and politics: the trends and the prospects”.

The international conference “The post-Soviet Space – the vectors of changes” was held in the framework of the Primakov Readings at the IMEMO. 40 experts from Russia and the countries of Eurasia took part in the meeting. Director of the IMEMO Corresponding Member of RAS Dr. Feodor Voitolovsky addressed to the audience with the welcoming remarks.

The International round table “Russia-Kazakhstan: Strategic Planning Horizon 2025” was held in the IMEMO. The experts from Kazakhstan and Russia took part in the event. On the meeting they discussed a wide range of issues of the relations between the two countries in the spheres of economic, politics and regional security. 

International Round Table Conference "The Caucasus is in the modern global and regional context" was held in IMEMO. The agreement on cooperation between IMEMO and The Caucasus Institute (Yerevan, Armenia) was signed during the event.

Round Table Conference  “The post-Soviet states of Central Asia in the modern international relations” was held in IMEMO. The event was organized by the Center for post-Soviet Studies.

Academician of RAS Gennady Chufrin and Head of the Section of the Center for Post-Soviet Studies Dr. Dina Malysheva held the meeting with the Heads of the Departments of the Institute of Strategic and Interregional Researches under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan S.A. Valijev and M.I. Bazarova.

Center for Post-Soviet Studies of the IMEMO held the round-table conference “The Elections-2017: the stagnation or the new prospects for the South Caucasus?”
