Uncertainty of World Economic Development: Risks for Russia

Abstract. The article argues that despite general uncertainty of world economic situation Russia founds itself in sufficiently favorable position for sustainable growth. The main reason is the availability of huge resources, including natural, human, financial, technological, special and administrative. However, in order to successfully utilize these resources for the sake nation’s development Russian economic policy-makers have to solve a number of serious tasks. Essentially, we have to objectively assess the risks that Russia is facing under current conditions. This can help to choose the directions of economic policy that will enable to trigger the most efficient growth factor throughout the whole economic space of the country.
