The author analyzes the lingering process of Russia's accession to the WTO, the directions of this process reformatting, and problems arising on the way. In the article, it is concluded that in consequence of such reformatting, the perspective of Russia's accession to the WTO has become much less definite than a year ago. New problems with an unclear solution algorithm have fallen into line with the issues unsolved before. And this despite the fact that evaluating the consequences of the accession judiciously, one can see more advantages than possible risks in it.
