Latvia: Twenty Years of Lost Opportunities

Abstract. The article provides an analysis of the economic development of Latvia over the past 10 year. The achievements and challenges faced by the country during this period are highlighted. The author concludes that a necessary prerequisite for improving difficult economic situation in Latvia is a revival of normal business relations with Russia.
